You can often find the same items we currently sell on our site or at our retail store in San Francisco in department stores, boutiques, and within the pages of your favorite magazines—but we offer you much lower prices.

All of our gowns are typically size 8 or 10 in bridal. As all of our gowns come direct from designers or other retailers, our sizes are limited to the sizes they selected. Though we would love to offer additional sizes, our ability is limited.

Note: Sizing can usually be accomplished two sizes down or one size up, depending on the designer and style of the gown. For example, a size 10 will easily be altered by a professional seamstress to a size 6; a size 8 to a size 4; a size 10 to a size 12. Keep in mind that a professional wedding gown seamstress is recommended. *Remember that wedding dresses are sized smaller than normal street clothes sizes. A size 10 is closer to a normal size 8.

Glamour Closet offers recommendations for professional alterations to help customize and fit your wedding gown. However, please note that these are merely recommendations. Our customers are ultimately responsible for any alterations they wish to have done to the gown. Our customers may also chose any seamstress of their choice.
